Nearly 90 dancers – dads of all ages and daughter ranging from 3 to 12 (?) – hit the dance floor and never stopped on Saturday evening at Bluffton Family Recreation.
Dancers from Bluffton, Pandora, Lima, Jenera and elsewhere showed up with at the first-ever dad and daughter dance at BFR.

Kindergarten registration, spring testing, an Ohio Cavern trip, and a spring musical are on the Bluffton school spring calendar.

Loretta Sue Wolf, 71, died Feb. 10, 2019, at St. Catherine's Manor in Findlay.
Loretta was born March 26, 1947, in Harlan County, Kentucky, to the late Leland and Willie (King) Aslinger. She had previously been married to Thomas Wolf and he preceded her in death.
Former Bluffton resident Lois Lydia Sommer was born Feb. 8, 1924, in Pekin Ill., and died Jan. 31, 2019, in North Newton Kan. She graduated valedictorian of Pekin High School in 1940 and from Bluffton College in 1945 with a degree in home economics.
Bluffton High School boys' basketball team will play the winner of the Fairfield vs. Tinora game in the opening round of the boys' sectional tournament. That game is at 8 p.m., Friday, March 1, at Miller City.
