Can you guess what Bluffton middle school student celebrates its 20th birthday this weekend?
While this appears as a trick question – who could be in middle school at age 20? – it is the real thing.
The answer: It's the entire middle school building. The inaugural date that the middle school opened is Jan. 19, 1999.
To commerate its 20th birthday Kyle Leatherman, principal, will provide cake, cookies and cupcakes for the staff and students during the lunch hour on Friday, Jan. 18.

Bluffton women defeat Manchester; men lose -

The Bluffton University women's basketball team defeated Manchester University in dominating fashion (82-45) on Wednesday, Jan. 16. The win pushed Bluffton to 6-10 on the year (4-5 HCAC). Manchester dropped to 2-14 overall and 0-9 in the HCAC.
Junior guard Andrew Renner (Cairo/Bath) has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week after leading the Beavers to wins over Defiance and HCAC-leading Rose-Hulman.

One of the largest small-town farmers’ markets in northwestern Ohio, the market celebrates its 19th year in 2019. It offers a variety of locally-grown produce, plants and food in addition to being a great social meeting point on Saturdays.
A vendor meeting is at 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, in the third floor of the town hall, 154 N. Main St.
