On Sunday, February 4, the Bluffton High School girls basketball team was named the 10th seed at the deep 11-team Elida district Div. III tournament drawing.

John R. Skelly, 75, of Ironton, Ohio, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Community Hospice Care Center, Ashland, Kentucky. John was born January 30, 1949, a son to the late John B. and Dorothy D. (Cox) Skelly. He is survived by his loving wife, Roberta (Bobbi) A. (Swartz) Skelly, whom he married January 3, 1981.

It seems to enjoy being in the company of people, swimming to be near and quite approachable, thus far showing to be in no rush to leave town."
