GROB Systems of Bluffton will host a 2022 Apprenticeship Class orientation and signing day from 9:00 a.m.-noon on June 4. New apprentices and their families will learn more about what to expect from the GROB Apprenticeship Program, and they will also celebrate each student choosing this path after high school by participating in a signing day photo opportunity.

The Bluffton High School baseball team lost 7-3 to visiting Parkway in Div. III sectional semifinal play Thursday, May 19.

The 12th-seeded Pirates fell to 3-18 with the loss, while 13th seed Parkway improved to 3-19 after the win. 

The Panthers advance to the sectional finals Friday, May 20 at top seed Pemberville Eastwood.

The district finals will be held at Elida May 26/28.

Summer Storytime at Bluffton Public Library is for infants to Pre-Kindergarten who will get to talk, sing, read, write, and play with fellow Storytime Friends. This is a great way to engage your little one in social cues and how to make friends while listening to stories.

Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday mornings at 10:00 a.m.

JAMPD tips on abandoned, nesting and fledgling birds

"The phone calls to the Park Office are increasing every day. Let's have a quick clarification on abandoned, nestling and fledgling birds on this Wildlife Wednesday.

"Abandoned-baby birds (animals) are rare. Unless you physically see the deceased parents near the nest (or burrow or den) DO NOT DISTURB the baby animal.
