The January 2025 meeting of the Bluffton Ohio Historical Society (BOHS) introduced several new items in the group's growing collection of local artifacts. One is a baby carriage that came with a local family from Germany; the other is a sleigh. BOHS leadership has begun a building campaign to create a Bluffton museum. BOHS meetings are open to all and are held at 7:00 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month.

The first Bluffton council meeting of 2026 was called to order by Mayor Johnson who proceeded to administer the Oath of Office to incoming Council members Thomas Downey, Liz Gordon-Hancock and Phil Talavania. Their terms are through December 31, 2029.

Phil Talavania will serve as the Council President for this calendar year.

Galley Book Group - Mixed Titles (R) will meet on Thu., Mar. 26 at 6:00 p.m. This discussion will be of an assortment of Galley books provided by the publishers, scheduled to be published between January and April 2026. Register for the discussion, read a book from the box as soon as you are able, return so others can read it and repeat as desired until the discussion date. At the discussion, the group will briefly talk about each book read, rate the titles, and discuss whether it is book-discussion-worthy.

Open Chess on Tuesdays! The library has an area designated on the Main Floor for open chess from 5:30-7:30 p.m. every Tuesday the library is open. Bring your own board or use one of the library’s! All ages are welcome!

MEDIA RELEASE__ONU HealthWise Pharmacy now offers a free Remote Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) program for Medicaid patients with diabetes. Eligible patients receive a free wearable CGM device and ongoing remote support from a pharmacist via phone or text to help monitor blood sugar in real time, improve diabetes management, and reduce barriers to care.
