Six new teachers hired during Monday's school board meeting
Six new teachers were hired for the 2013-2014 Bluffton school year during Monday’s Bluffton school board session.
The following one-year contracts were offered:
• Todd Boblitt, high school computer technology and math, MA - Step 11, $52,085.
• Kyle Cutnaw, high school and middle school physical education and health, MA - Step 5, $42,843.
• Ashley Frey, second grade teacher, MA+15 – Step 6, $45,924.
• Bryant Miller, high school social studies, MA – Step 5, $42,843.
• Lauren Moser, middle school science, 150 hours – Step 2, $36,970,
• Jamie Neff, fourth grade, BA – Step 0, $32,092
Greg Denecker, Bluffton superintendent, told The Icon the Neff contract means that the fourth grade will have four sections next school year.
Several substitute contracts and supplemental were awarded. Those are found on the board’s agenda, which is an attachment at the bottom of this story.
