We know Bluffton is real. And now there's a song that says so.

Earlier this summer Hannah Joy Brown (of Bluffton, South Carolina) sent the Bluffton chamber the attached video.

It turns out that Bluffton Real is the country rock anthem of our sister city, Bluffton, South Carolina. Brown wanted to share it with Bluffton, Ohio. Here's a description of the song lyrics in her own words:

"It speaks of the values, the people, and the roots of an American town.

"Hannah Joy Brown and J. Howard Duff are are from Bluffton, S.C. Hannah supplies the lead vocals, while J. plays all the instruments, backing vocals and did the production work."

The song is a joint writing effort of this 'odd couple.' They note that the pairing - she a spunky 17 year old and he a wizened 64 year old - she just entering the music business and he a rock and roll old-timer.

As Brown says, "Our work together is not unlike what makes Bluffton (and towns across America) just what it is: a convergence of differences to make one distinct entity.
