Council may raise water-sewer rates; discussion on Monday agenda
Bluffton council will hear the first reading to consider a water and sewer rate increase to village customers on Monday.
The proposed increase could take effect in the July 2016 billing cycle. A chart on the council packet spells out the rates for cutomers.
In other council business preparations for the 2016 swimming pool season are underway. Council will discuss the pool's heater problems. The recreation committee is recommending that the village accepts a quote from M&R Plumbing and Heating to install a gas boiler systerm for an estimated cost of $15,000.
Several additional items are on the agenda and those items are found in the council agenda, an attachment at the bottom of this story.
