Sooner than you think...as the mowing season ends the leaf pick-up season starts
Jamie Mehaffie, village administrator, will inform Bluffton council of the fall leaf plan at Monday’s council meeting. The entire Monday agenda is in an attachment at the bottom of this story.
Weather always dictates when the village launches its fall leaf pick-up. Mehaffie, said that it’s likely to begin the last week of October.
“As grass mowing slows down, leaf pick up increases,” he said, anticipating that it will continue through November.
After the leaf pick-up concludes, village employees will turn their focus on cleaning out catch basins.
