Become a volunteer guardian
Crime Victim Services, Lima, invites Icon viewers to become volunteer guardians for persons in Allen and Putnam counties, according to Elysia Bush, director of the CVS elder victim ministry and guardian programs.
Court-sworn guardians are needed to make decisions related to social services, housing and healthcare for individuals deemed unable to make those decisions themselves.
A session explaining the program is at noon and again at 6 p.m., Thursday, May 23, at Crime Victim Services, 330 N. Elizabeth St. Lima. A light meal is included.
Register on Eventbrite.com under Lima Guardians, or call 419-222-8666 or contact Bush at: [email protected].
