Hike the trails at Quarry Farm this winter
The Quarry Farm Nature Preserve and Conservation Farm, rural Pandora, has several nature hikes planned this winter.
Events include:
- Full Moon Hike on Saturday, Jan. 11, from 8-9 p.m., hiking under the full "wolf moon" along the nature preserve. Bring a flashlight and dress for the weather. Pre-register for this event.
- Annual Hat Day Hike on Sunday, Jan. 19, from 2-3 p.m. to celebrate your favorite headgear and enjoy a hike through nature. Dress warmly and wear appropriate footwear.
- Great Backyard Bird Count of 2020 on Saturday, Feb. 15 from 9-10:30 a.m., as part of the National Audubon Society and Cornell Lab of Ornithology team. Join the team as they walk the trails to document the many species of birds that shelter in the preserve. Bring your binoculars.
