PLANT CITY, Fla. - The Bluffton University softball squad picked up on Wednesday where they left off Monday as they added another win to their record in a dominating 10-2 victory over Simmons in six innings. In game two, they revisited Saint Joseph's (Me.) and nearly exacted some revenge, but came up just short as the Beavers lost a hard fought game by the score of 7-6. Bluffton now stands 2-4 overall with two more days of action from Florida.
A Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce business after hours event is set for 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, at Sycamore Lake Wine Co, 9660 Mayberry Road, Columbus Grove, according to Paula Scott of the chamber.
The evening is an opportunity to mix and mingle with persons from other businesses and organizations.
The event has no formal program. Persons may attend and enjoy free appetizers and music.
Nassar improved to 44-0 on the season and will look to join Josh Falk, Brian Edwards and Tom Falk as Pirates who went undefeated for an entire season with a state championship.

(TROY) - Senior Deandre Nassar continued his undefeated season by capturing the district title in the 182 class in dominating fashion.
With the win, Nassar advanced to the OHSAA state wrestling meet for the third straight year, joining an elite list for past Pirates to have accomplished this feat.
Several committee meetings are on the Bluffton council schedule in March. Those follow:
