Next event is this weekend

Here’s the February line-up of performances at The Freed Center at Ohio Northern University.

Choreographers’ Showcase spring dance performance
Biggs Theatre
Saturday, Feb. 2, 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, Feb. 3, 2 p.m.

ONU students and faculty present the showcase, which offers a broad range of dance styles.

Tickets are: $20 for adults; $10 for seniors; $5 for students

Gardeners of the Bluffton Pandora Area will hold their first meeting of the year at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 5, in the Bluffton Public Library.

Officers of the club for 2019 are:

• Victoria Zeit, president
• Betty Flinn, vice-president and director
• Patrick Flinn, secretary
• Joyce Fuerst, immediate past president and director
• Anita Darnell, director.

The meetings are open to the public. The current club newsletter is attached.

Bluffton schools are cancelled for Wednesday, Jan. 30, according to Greg Denecker, superintendent. The announcement was made on Ohio Alerts at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Ebenezer Mennonite Church, 8905 Columbus Grove Road, announced that it will be closed all day on Wednesday, Jan. 30. No evening activities will take place and offices will be closed.

Bluffton High School wrestler Deandre Nassar (182) won his weight class at this past weekend's Lima Central Catholic Wresting Invitational.  BHS was 8th of 43 teams.
