Time to think about downtown flowerpots
Orders are now being placed for this summer’s downtown flowerpots.
According to Susie and Steve Stratton of Stratton Greenhouses, “This is our 14th year for providing the potted plants on Main Street.”

To make this happen Strattons invite contributions to keep the program going. This year the sponsorships are $140 per pot. If payments are received by March 15, the cost is $135 per pot.
The 24-inch flowering pots are placed along Main Street from the Bluffton Public Library to Jefferson Street.
“Sponsorships cover the cost of dirt, plants and fertilizers. Stratton Greenhouses has covered the cost of labor for watering the planters,” said Susie, adding that the greenhouse shares the cost of watering with the Village of Bluffton.
“We could not do this without the tremendous support of our community,” she said.
Sponsorship markers may be placed in each pot.
Contributions may be used as a:
• Memorial contribution
• In honor of contribution
• Just your name
• Or you may remain anonymous
Contributions to the Flowerpot Beautification Program may be made to:

All contributions will be used for the replacing, planting and maintaining the planters.
