Quarry Farm hope to provide public hiking trails for Putnam County
The Quarry Farm Nature Preserve & Conservation Farm hope to provide public hiking trails for Putnam County, according to their spring newsletter.
"As Putnam County is limited in its opportunities for nature hiking, we receive calls all year round from people wanting to hike the trails here," stated the farm's quarterly newsletter. "Before public hours are set and posted, all existing and proposed trails must be clearly indicated with way-finding signage." Although the farm has made good headway toward this goal, there is no set timeline for when hiking trails will be available.
The farm is a nonprofit organization at 14321 Road 7L, Pandora.
