Bluffton’s school board will act on a resolution on Monday, which continues distance learning until the earlier of:
1 - the expiration of the Ohio Director of Health’s order, local board of health order, or an extension of any order, or
2 - or the end of the 2019-20 school year.
In addition to that, the board’s primary focus is on action pertaining to next school year.
Among items include approval of 2020-21 (all items are listed in the attachment)
• class fees
• contracts for Saturday school supervisors
• learning disability tutor
• weight room supervisor
• resident educational mentor teacher contracts
• 2 classified employee contracts
• 2 certified employee contracts
• 15 certified contacts
• 5 extended service contracts
The certified contacts will be offered to Diana Kiser and Paul Utendorf.
In March, the Icon did not post the school board agenda for that month, as the COVID-19 virus news coverage delayed several stories.
The March agenda is also posted below.
In March, the board accepted the resignation of Denny Phillips, elementary physical education teacher, effective May 28.
