Members of the Bluffton High School class of 2021 graduated on Saturday, making them the 140th class to pass through the local school system.
Class officers are: Cierra Ackerman, president; Asher Antrim, vice-president; Pearl Lewandowski, secretary, Thad Mittendorf, treasurer and class advisor, Julie Oberly.
Class members who provided speeches at commencement were Jonah Blackburn and Julia Smallcombe.
The class motto is a quotation by Anatole France, a French poet and novelist and winner of the 1921 Nobel Prize in Literature: “To accomplish great things, we must not only act but also dream. Not only plan, but also believe.”
