Are you ready for an action-packed day of events in Bluffton on Saturday, September 24? The village will be firing on all cylinders with activities scheduled for three special programs:
17th Bluffton Fall Festival
- At locations throughout and near the village. Coordinated by Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio.
Discovery Days
- Shop at participating Bluffton businesses and earn a chance to win Bluffton Bucks from the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce. (List of merchants on attached poster and below.)
Family Day at Bluffton University
- University students' familes are invited to check out recreation on campus, attend volleyball and soccer games, and enjoy an Oktoberfest celebration.
Most Fall Festival activities are scheduled from 10:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. and Discovery Days events begin slightly earlier, at 9:00 a.m. The following schedule highlights activities throughout the day.
8:00-11:00 a.m. - Bluffton Cars & Coffee, 902 N. Main St. (Masterpiece Signs & Graphics)
8:30 a.m.-noon - Bluffton Farmers Market, 102 S. Main St. (Citizens National Bank parking lot)
9:00-noon - Free face painting and corn hole on Vine St.
1:00-2:00 p.m. - Kiddle Tractor Pull at Maple Crest, 700 Maple Crest Ct.
2:00-3:00 p.m. - Fishing Derby at Maple Crest, 700 Maple Crest Ct.
8:00-10:00 p.m. - Live Music: The Pinup Project on Vine St.

- $5 Kids Craft event, Discovery Days merchant

- Free pumpkin decorating, interactive games for kids and refreshments

- Entertainment at the gazebo

- Antique tractor show and face painting

- Food vendors and tent, kiddie train, mini golf and sand art

- Face painting and balloon art
NWO Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, 132 Garau St.,
- Sports games, ladder golf and more
Schumacher Homestead/Swiss Community Historical Society, 8350 Bixel Rd.
- Farm animals, a straw bale maze, kids’ games. Soup, sandwiches and popcorn for sale. Self-guided tours of the farmstead with volunteer docents to answer your questions.
