Donaldson and Sommers named to All-NWC boys basketball teams

The Bluffton High School boys basketball team have two players on the All-Northwest Conference teams following voting recently conducted by league coaches.
Senior guard Marek Donaldson was voted first team All-NWC. He led the team in three-point field goals made, and was one of the top Pirate scorers.
Senior Blake Sommers was named second team All-NWC. He was one of the top two Pirate scorers and rebounders.
Bluffton finished its regular season 15-7 overall against a tough schedule, and went 3-4 in the NWC.
Spencerville and Columbus Grove tied for the NWC championship at 6-1. Crestview’s Wren Sheets was named league Player of the Year.
Bearcat mentor Kevin Sensabaugh was tabbed NWC Coach of the Year after leading Spencerville (20-2) to number one in the state poll.
Crestview and LCC tied for third at 5-2. Bluffton finished fifth, followed by Allen East (2-5), Delphos Jefferson (1-6) and Lincolnview (0-7).
