SERVICE AWARDS
Chevrons were presented to Bluffton Lions from Lions Clubs International recognizing length of service as follows: 

• Neil Reichenbach – 15 years 
• Jesse Blackburn – 15 years
• Mitch Kingsley – 30 years
• Fred Rodabaugh – 30 years

UPCOMING EVENTS:

April 1 : Club meeting Town Hall 6:30 PM. Board to meet at 6 PM. Speaker will be Lion Barbara Plaugher topic of Service. 50/50 charity raffle draw.

April 4-5: District convention Findlay Hilton Garden Inn.

April 5: Road-side cleanup. Lion Andrew Rager to coordinate this project. Meet at 8:30 a.m. at the corner of Bluffton Main Street and County Line Road 15.   MORE ▶︎

April 14: Scholarship committee meeting, TBA.

April 15: Volunteers of the Year at First Mennonite Church, 7-8:30 p.m.

May Pathway Count: Additional help is needed for the next Pathway Count scheduled for May. We have two new Pathways-S.R. 103 and County Line Road. Please contact Lion Dick McGarrity to help with this project 419-905-6876 or [email protected].

May 10: Pancake & Sausage Breakfast at Bluffton Middle School 8 -11:00 a.m.

BOARD REPORT

• Festival of Wheels planned for June 13. This event is coordinated by Lion Greg Denecker and Dan Groman.
• The Board approved budgeted donations of $350 to Girls and Boys State and $200 for the Community Assistance program.
• The Board is working on a slate of officers to be presented at an April meeting.
• Pathway donations letter of thanks will be mailed by Lion Barbara Plaugher secretary.
• Lion Dennis Morrision reported 1,000 flags have been destroyed, according to protocol.
