FROM FACEBOOK__The new display at Bluffton Senior Center is flock of chickens in every size, shape and material. Sue Habegger brought in her chicken collection for all to enjoy, with over 60 birds on view. Senior Center hours are 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.

MEDIA RELEASE__Bluffton Exempted Village Schools announced on August 3 its 2026-2027 program year policy free and reduced price meals for students unable to pay the full price of meals under the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs.

At the July meetings of the Richland Township Board of Trustees, three new Zoning officials were appointed (see below) and the board accepted the resignation of the Roads Superintendent and Zoning Inspector. The Township is now accepting resumes for a full-time Roads Superintendent and a part-time Zoning Inspector.

The Bluffton Athletic Boosters have partnered with Vertical Raise to help provide our Bluffton High School student-athletes with the resources they need to succeed both on and off the field.

Donations help fund:

  • New uniforms
  • Team equipment
  • Team camps
  • HUDL subscriptions

And many other needs that benefit our athletic programs.

MEDIA RELEASE__The Bluffton community is invited to come out and see the 2026 BHS Soccer teams for the first time, watch some of your favorite former student-athletes in action, and support the Bluffton Food Pantry.

On Saturday, August 8, the annual alumni games for the Bluffton High School girls and boys soccer teams will take place at Steinmetz Field.

All former BHS players are invited to play. This year, the boys’ game will be at 5:00 p.m., and the girls will be playing at 7:00 p.m. Alumni should wear red for the game.
