Bluffton Bread Company online winter sales will run from Feb. 7-March 31, 2022. Four bread flavors are available:

Asiago Cheddar: A savory choice, Asiago Cheddar bread combines the richness of asiago and cheddar cheeses with a hint of buttermilk. Literally packed to the brim with cheese, this loaf is surrounded by a crust of parmesan and cheddar. Sprinkled with a dash of cayenne, this bread is not too spicy, but instead will be a showstopper at any event.

The Conservation Tillage & Technology Conference (CTTC) plans to be in- person March 8-9 at Ohio Northern University in Ada after being virtual this past year. The event is an opportunity to connect with farmers and CCAs, experience new ideas, and increase net income. Historically over 800 individuals attend each day of the two-day conference, making it the largest agricultural meeting in northwest Ohio. Currently, ONU requires that everyone wear a mask while inside a building.

When Bluffton Family Recreation purchased these new treadmills, the Icon was curious to know just how many miles the old ones lasted. Director Amy Byers reports that Fitness Center users put in some 80,000 miles on each.

Sheila Louise Patterson, 80, passed away February 9, 2022 at her residence.  Sheila was born July 15, 1941 in Mansfield, Ohio to John "Jack" and Eileen (Walsh) Miner.  She was previously married to Lowell Weeks and on April 18, 1992 she married John "Tom" Patterson.

Sheila Patterson, 80, of Bluffton passed away on February 9, 2022 at her residence. 

Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bluffton. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 15, 2022 from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton.

Blended Roots ribbon cutting follows meeting

The February 11 Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce meeting at Town Hall will be sponsored by SumiRiko Ohio (SRK-OHIO).

The chamber meeting will feature a program by Steve Unterbrink, Executive Vice President of Operations for SRK-OHIO. SRK-OHIO is a manufacturing company of anti-vibration components for the automotive industry. The company currently employs 525 associates.
