On November 20, Miami-Hamilton clamped down on the Beavers in a 56-41 win over the Bluffton University men's basketball. Bluffton slipped to 0-3 on the season, while the Harriers stayed perfect at 7-0.
The holidays are quickly approaching, which can be such a joyful time of the year for celebrations with family and friends. However, they can also wreak havoc on our nutrition goals. The following are some helpful tips on how to be mindful during the holidays.
Don’t skip meals. A common thought around the holidays is, “if I skip lunch, I will be able to save those calories and eat them all at dinner.” However, skipping meals often leads to overeating at the next meal. It is important to eat three balanced meals during the holidays to help avoid overeating at gatherings.
With Bluffton’s 35th annual Blaze of Lights celebrations coming up on Saturday, November 27, 2021, the Bluffton Icon will feature a series of “About about that Blaze” articles, beginning with the Blaze Parade.
Coordinator Junior Weihrauch will continue to accept entries through Saturday morning, November 27. Registered entries to date include the Bluffton High School marching band, baton corps, floats, and fire and EMS departments from Bluffton and the surrounding area.
