On Friday and Saturday, October 29-30, Book ReViews is having a sale on Suspense novels to get readers in the Halloween mood. Shoppers can stock up on spooky reads for 50 cents each. New titles were put out on the sales floor just in time for this sale.
The shop at 123 S. Main Street, Bluffton, is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Recently retired Bluffton Icon owner and editor Fred Steiner has created a new outlet for his photographic and storytelling creations, blufftonforever.com.

When Bluffton University took down Manchester University 1-0 on Wednesday, Oct. 27, the 2021 Beavers netted their first-ever Heartland Conference Men's Soccer Tournament berth. Bluffton wrapped up its regular season with an 8-7 mark which is the most wins in a season since 2008. The four wins (4-5) in conference play also equaled the 2008 squad for the most-ever wins in the Heartland Conference.
Trick or Treat night on Bluffton's Main Street was block after block of sweet Halloween fun for kids and adults. Families watched little ones find the courage to ask for candy, while teens showed they weren't too old to enjoy themselves.
