Once again, it’s time to make some New Year’s resolutions. This year, in addition to promising yourself that you’ll hit the gym more often, learn a new language or take up a musical instrument — all worthy goals, of course — why not set some financial resolutions?
Seven area dancers from Rhythm In Motion Dance Centre of Ada participated in the 2013 Outback Bowl pregame and halftime shows on New Year’s Day, according to Darcey Schneider, studio owner.
Schneider told The Icon that she submitted an audition tape last January to Just For Kix, the organization in charge of the pregame and halftime shows, and secured a spot for the group of dancers when RIMDC made the cut and was invited to perform in this amazing opportunity.
The group of seven RIMDC dancers who traveled to Tampa, Florida, to participate in the Outback Bowl included:

The Pandora United Methodist Church will be hosting a FREE Community Meal on Wednesday, Jan. 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, Pandora.
The meal this month is provided by the the 7' oclock Flock Group and is Tomato Soup, Grilled Cheese Sandwich, relish tray, dessert and beverage.
The churches of Pandora and Gilboa are offering food boxes for households in the Pandora/Gilboa School District. The boxes are designed to provide nine meals for a family of four.
In order to pick up a box, you must register by 5 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 21 by calling 419-384-3905.
Boxes will be available for pickup on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 11 a.m. at the Pandora United Methodist Church located on State Route 12.
