This is Velasquez's 10th Christmas print showing a Bluffton scene. The original work was completed in acrylic.
Copies are available in two sizes. The 16 by 20 inch size is $75 framed and $25 unframed. An 8 by 10 inch framed size is available for $25.
Velasquez will be at Deer Creek Shoppes from 3 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26. Persons may purchased signed copies of either size of the print.
Is there such a thing as a familar dramatic role for a nine-year-old? In this case, yes, and the actor is a Bluffton elementary student.
Bluffton fourth grader Courtney McLaughlin plays the role of the main child in this weekend's 17th annual Holiday Spectacular performed at The Freed Center at Ohio Northern University.
This is the second year, in fact, that she has played this role. In last year's performance she became the first child in the performance to have her own solo.
