Come join us for a candlelit walk to empower and support survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, abuse and rape. Beginning at the Bluffton Public Library at 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 21, it will proceed to Ramseyer Theatre at the university ending with a program and ceremony.

Organized by A.S.S.K. in partnership with Rape Crisis Center of Crime Victim Services, this event was created to help raise awareness about rape, sexual assault, sexual abuse and domestic violence and the social discomfort they cause.

Bluffton's talented trio of senior hitters were all selected first team Heartland Conference following the 2011 volleyball campaign.

Members of the Bluffton American Legion Post 382 were busy on Nov. 11. Here are members visiting veterans at Richland Manor. Legion members also visited vets at Maple Crest, Mennonite Home and conducted a discarded flag burning ceremony at Bluffton High School.

Ask 10 individuals to define "art" and you'll get 10 different answers. In fact, Merriam-Webster.com lists six definitions of "art" as a noun.

Technically, it's impossible to define art because it really is very personal. One person's definition may produce a look of disgust from another.
