Bluffton Paving has an early jump on the village 2021 street program. Here's grinding near the Cherry Street bridge. Milling and preparing areas for pavement also will take place soon at the Spring Street brush dump, Shannon Street, Susan Drive, Kibler (Main to Harmon), Garau (Main to Harmon), Beaver Street and the first 100 feet of Tower Drive off SR 103.

The Bluffton Public Library Board of Trustees will hold their regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 27, via video conferencing.  To request an invitation for the meeting, please contact Jessica Hermiller, Director, at [email protected].  

The American Red Cross of North Central Ohio responded to an early morning fire in Arlington on Wednesday, according to Todd James.

The Red Cross provided assistance for the immediate needs, such as temporary lodging, food and clothing for one adult living in the home.

Unlike many small towns, Bluffton's Main Street outlived the malls, survived an interstate bypass and today is home of over 40 small businesses located between the town hall and the public library.

Almost seven decades ago Paul Diller photographed this iconic Main Street scene. When this photo was taken Main Street was also U.S. 25, known as the Dixie Highway. (There existed no interstate highway bypassing town.)
