It's all about the public library at Friday's chamber breakfast

Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce members will hear about summer reading programs and lots more activities planned this summer at the Bluffton Public Library during the Friday, May 8, chamber breakfast.

The free breakfast is served from 7 to 7:30 a.m. The program is from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. in the third floor of the town hall. Richland Manor will cater the breakfast.

Jessica Hermiller, library director, will tell about programs and services the library offers and will share information about this summer’s reading program.

Bluffton Public Library announces its May 2015 programs, opportunities, and services.  Programs are open to the public, but when noted below, require registration.

Toy car collection a big hit with young library patrons

Every model of car imaginable was parked in the Bluffton Public Library in March.

During the month, children visiting the Bluffton Public Library were encouraged to guess how many toy cars were in the children's display case near the Preschool Discovery Room, according to Lauren Canaday, public services coordinator at the library.

AudioFiles Sync enables young adults alerts for free audiobooks

Bluffton Public Library offers a new program for young adults. Titled "AudioFile Sync," the program offers alerts for free audiobooks.

Earth Day celebration at Bluffton Library April 20

Songs for Earth Day will be held Monday, April 20, 2015 at 6:30 p.m at the Bluffton Public Library. Join Wendy Chappell-Dick and friends for celebrations and laments about the Earth. Earth Day.. Chappell-Dick will perform traditional American songs that honor the natural world using dulcimer and guitar.
