New Leaf Garden Center, 395 SR 235, Ada, invites you to its Christmas open house.
The event is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 10. It includes open house specials, refreshments and door prizes.
The garden center offers unique decorations, country and traditional decorations, artificial trees, wreaths and greenery, chocolate peanut cluster and more candy, grape vine trees, wreaths and many more holiday items
A ribbon-cutting for Bluffton newest business, Board and Brush, takes place at 6 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 8, according to owners Dan and Betsy Lee.
The Lee's open their business in the former Mustard Seed Cafe, 562 N. Main St. Bluffton.
The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce will handle the ribbon cuting.
"You are invited to enjoy some goodies, demonstrations and giveaways," said the Lees. "Board and Brush will have swag bags for the first 50 attendees and one person will win a VIP party for 10."
Bill and Chris Gable of Lone Palm Real Estate, LLC, of Bluffton are in the final stages of purchasing a Main Street storefront, at 103 N. Main St.
The building for many years housed the Bluffton News and Hopscotch Magazine. In 2015, the Edwards family sold the building to Dan and Karen Fredritz, of United Pioneers, LLC. They renovated the building, creating three suites on the ground floor.

Hundreds of people attended the open house for Crimson Lane wedding and event center on Saturday afternoon. The new multimillion dollar facility is a dream come true for brides and grooms...and for the owners, Mike and Jody Willeke.
Incredibly, 45 weddings already have been booked. The Willekes did their homework, determining that a weddings venue is needed in the area. Shortly after construction began last spring, future brides began to reserve dates for their dream wedding at Crimson Lane.
Karen Fredritz's last Bluffton haircut will be on Saturday with the closing of her shop, Bluffton Barbers.
She and her husband, Dan, are moving to Columbus to be closer to their family.
Karen opened Bluffton Barbers in the winter of 2016 in the former Bluffton News office. She’s cut hair since 1978, starting with Don Schneck in Pandora, and after a couple trips around the world she opened her shop, Bluffton Barbers, at 103 N. Main St.
