Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 1, at Mustard Sheed Chop, 562 N. Main St., which has recently reopened, according to Paula Scott of the chamber.

Located in the former Akron, Canton and Youngstown Railroad depot, the Mustard Seed Café opened five years ago as a breakfast and lunch establishment.

Purchased in 2015 by Moor, executive chef, the café launched dinner and brunch menus. Recently, it closed for renovations and creation of a new concept and menu.

And is reopened with a new menu

The Mustard Seed Café, 562 N. Main St., has been rebranded and is now open as Mustard Seed Chop, according to owner Rhonda Moor.

Located in the former Akron, Canton and Youngstown Railroad depot, the Mustard Seed Café opened five years ago as a breakfast and lunch establishment.

Purchased in 2015 by Moor, executive chef, the café launched dinner and brunch menus. Recently, it closed for renovations and creation of a new concept and menu.

The result is that it is now an American Casual Chop House with a simpler décor and menu.

Dr. Robert E. James, Jr., Bluffton chiropractor, will relocate to a new office at 142 Vance St. in early May.

He will continue at his current location, 546 N. Main St., until May 4.

Dr. James has offered a full-time practice in Bluffton since 1975. The practice will keep the same hours:
• Mondays to Fridays (Closed Thursdays) - 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 3 to 6 p.m.
• Saturdays - 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Thomas Hursey collection

Farthing Real Estate & Auctioneers, Findlay, will hold an auction involving many antique idtems from the Thomas Hursey collection in Bluffton, at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 28.

The auction is at 357 S. Jackson St., Bluffton. It includes antique furniture, primitives, bottles, jars, guns, glassware, figurines, and other items.

Community Shred Day on Friday, April 27 at CNB

In honor of Community Banking Month, Citizens National Bank offers a “Bank from Anywhere” sweepstakes to its customers through May 4.

Steve Fry, Nashville musician, joins Krysti's Music Studio staff

Bluffton chamber members were entertained earlier this month by a three-some band featuring Steve Frey.

The acoustic, electric and bass player is now an instructor accepting students at Krysti’s Music Studio, according to Krysti Schey.

Frey has 30 years playing and teaching experience. Having relocated to Nashville in 1999, he has played and toured with major recording artists Blackhawk, David Lee Murphy, Rebecca Lynn Howard, 2005 Nashville Star Winner Erika Jo.
