Mark T. Mueller received his Doctor of Medicine from University of Toledo College of Medicine. He has been a Physician for Mercy Health for seven years. Dr. Mueller did his residency at Fairview General Hospital in the Cleveland Clinic Health System.

Several persons have been nominated as Bluffton's sweetest person and the Icon continues to accept addition nominations.

Any Icon viewer can nominate Bluffton's sweetest person for Sweetest Day on Oct. 20.

One winner will be drawn from all nominations. The winner will receive a bouquet of flowers from Town and Country Flowers, 124 N. Main St., Bluffton.

The Dough Hook’s crock pot classes are such a big hit that Marlena Ballinger announces two more Cooking 101 opportunities.

This time it’s “Cooking with your Insta-Pot.” Two class times are offered:

Celebration, prizes, extended hours Friday and Saturday

The Black Lab Trading Co. celebrates 20 years of business at 121 N. Main St., downtown Bluffton this weekend, according to Julie Stratton.

The celebration includes cake, snacks, balloons, discounts and giveaways on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 12  and 13. 

There will be extended hours on Friday from 10-7 p.m. and Saturday from 10-4 p.m.  Specials include 20% off Jane and Denny Edinger’s furniture, 25%-30% off gifts, fashions and other items.
