Citizens Bancshares, Inc., will hold its annual shareholders' meeting at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 23, at Citizens National Bank, 102 S. Main St., Bluffton.
Mike Diller, who has spent more of his working life in the flooring business, will take over ownership of Diller Flooring and Interiors, operated since 2009 by his parents Dan and Lori Diller, who are retiring.
Mike said that the business name and hours will remain the same. He plans to continue all of the products and brand names already serviced by the 119 N. Main St., business.
Diller Flooring and Interiors offers carpets, hardwood flooring, tile, custom blinds and paint, which include many familiar brand names.
A Main Street Bluffton business has gone crazy and changed its name.
CG Pro Bikes, owned by Raymond and Liz Harner, 127 N. Main St., is officially renamed “Bike Crazy.”
While the name change is official, the Harners plan a crazy celebration as soon as their new store sign arrives later this month.
In explaining the name change, Liz said, “We are bike experts, bike mechanics, bike fans, bike riders, bike fitters, bike advocates…we are bike crazy!”
Kathy Keller, Director of the Lima Small Business Development Center, Rhodes State College, has received the 2017 Ohio SBDC Peer Recognition Award for Collaboration.
This statewide award recognizes innovation, advocacy, collaboration, marketing, and mentoring.
The nomination was based on her involvement with the YEA! Program and the Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurship’s Ropp Triplett Business Plan Competition, among numerous other smaller projects.
