Here's one way to warm up on a cold January night in Bluffton. The Columbus-based Mariachi Guadalajara band will perform at Tu Pueblo Mexican Restaurant from 6 to 9 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 23.
The band has appeared several times at Tu Pueblo, the most recent visit being in November.
American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) tax aide will be offered at the Bluffton Senior Citizen’s Center on Thursdays starting at 9 a.m. Feb. 6 through April 3, according to Tonya Meyer, center director.
AARP volunteers specialize in helping taxpayers with low and moderate-income, with special attention to those aged 60 and older. This service is free but an appointment is required and may be made by calling 419-358-8971 or stop by the Bluffton Senior Center.
The Allen County Health Department is ringing in the New Year with a new name and a new website.
“Our new name better reflects what we do and highlights our Public Health mission to prevent disease, promote good health and protect the health of our community,” said Kathy Luhn, Health Commissioner.
