CNB celebrates Community Banking Month with cake, giveaways and business displays

In appreciation for its customers and in honor of Community Banking Month, every Citizens National Bank office will be serving cake to its customers on Friday, April 26, during business hours.

April is Community Banking Month, and members of the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) and Citizens National Bank are celebrating the role that community banks play in the economic, civic and cultural life of their communities in cities and towns throughout America.

Lisa Rettig Named VP/Human Resources Manager at Citizens National Bank

 

Lisa Rettig was recently promoted to Vice President/Human Resource Manager at Citizens National Bank. In this position, Rettig is responsible for promoting and conducting human resource activities including employment and retention, employee relations, employee wellness initiatives and providing bank staff various training and development opportunities.

“We are pleased to recognize Lisa’s strong performance and its contribution to the success of the HR team and the bank,” said Karen Mitterholzer, SVP/Head of Human Resources.

BCE's "Big Idea" contest winners announced; still time to enter Triplett Business Plan Competition

“The Hot Seat,” “Nike Cleanse,” and “Delicate and Sweet Bakery,” are the three winners of the Bluffton Center for Entrepreneur’s Big Idea Contest, according to Denise Durenberger, BCE director and assistant professor of business at Bluffton University.

Eric Brough promoted to AVP Operations Manager at CNB

 

Eric Brough has joined Citizens National Bank as Assistant Vice President Operations Manager. Brough moved to the Operations Department from the Bluffton Branch Manager position in 2010.

In his role he oversees bank operations related to customer accounts, including daily settlement, treasury management support and credit cards. Janet Dukes, SVP/COO said, “Eric holds a pivotal role with the bank in maintaining daily operations and ensuring things run smoothly for our customers. We’re pleased to acknowledge his contribution to the success of our bank with this promotion.”

Mustard Seed Café, 560 N. Main St., Bluffton, is accepting reservations for Easter Sunday. Dinner is served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The menu features:

• Glazed ham or herbed chicken breast in sauce
• Smashed red potatoes over mustard greens
• Lime ginger carrots
