The Pandora United Methodist Church will be presenting their Easter Cantata, "The Easter Story" written by Tom Fettke and Thomas Grassi on Sunday ,April 13 at 9:30 a.m. during the worship service.
The church service and refreshments in the fellowship hall afterwards are open to the public.
The choir is directed by Pat Basinger and accompanied by Kira Davis.
The church is located on State Route 12 at 108 E. Washington Street in Pandora.
A mid-week Lent service will be held at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera, on Wednesday, March 26, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Vicar Eric Fluegge, from Immanuel Lutheran Church, Findlay, will preach on Psalm 51:8-9 with the theme being: Removing our Guilt. The reading of Jesus' suffering is from Luke 22:54-71. Hymns are "Not All the Blood of Beasts, A Lamb Goes Uncomplaining Forth, and Now the Light Has Gone Away."
A free spaghetti supper will be served by the Siefker family beginning at 5:30 p.m.
A mid-week Lent service will be held at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 301 North Main Street, Jenera, on Wednesday, March 19, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
The reading of Jesus' suffering is from Luke 22:39-54. A sermon by Vicar Eric Fluegge, from Immanuel Lutheran Church of Findlay, will be based on Psalm 51:3-4. with the theme: Recognizing against whom we sin.
Hymns are He Stood before the Court; Before You, God, the Judge of All; and Stricken, Smitten, and Afflicted.
The 2nd Midweek Lent service at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jenera will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12.
The reading is Luke 22:1-38. The sermon, by Pastor Kurtis Friemuth, Peace Lutheran Church, Deshler, is based on Psalm 51:5 under the theme "Revealing our Sinful Nature." The hymns are "Come to Calvary's Holy Mountain, Just as I am, Without One Plea, and By Grace I'm Saved."

Pastor Matt Nowak's sermon theme is "Realizing Our Need for Repentance." The theme is "Reflections on Repentance" from King David's great penitential Psalm 51.
The Ash Wednesday Service readings are from 2 Samuel 12, 2 Corinthians 5 & 6, Luke 18:9-14 and the sermon is based on Psalm 51:1-2. The hymns are: "In Hopelessness and Near Despair, From Depths of Woe, Salvation unto Us Has Come, and I Lay My Sins on Jesus."
