Sunday at 6 p.m. at Motter Metro Park

Transition Bluffton hosts a river walk along the Little Riley on Sunday, April 23. Naturalist Anne Coburn-Griffis will lead the walk exploring plant and animal life in the Motter Metro Park just outside of Bluffton.

The walk will start at 6 p.m. and last 1-1.5 hours. Walkers will explore park trails and be introduced to creatures that make their home in and along the Little Riley. Participants will need good walking shoes and should bring binoculars and magnifying lenses.

This year the Bluffton Senior Citizens - Bluffton Lions Club Foundation pancake and sausage breakfast has moved to the arts and crafts show weekend. The breakfast is from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Saturday, May 13, at the Senior Center, 132 N. Main St. This is the 35th annual breakfast.

The meal includes all the pancakes you can eat, whole hog sausage, applesauce and coffee, tea, milk or juice drink. Pre-sale tickets are $6 and can be purchased from any Lion’s Club member or the Bluffton Senior Center. 

The Addams Family -BHS school musical - this weekend

The Addams Family musical comes to the middle school stage this weekend in a show featuring every father's nightmare.

Performances are 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, April 21 and 22, and at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 23. Kara Zink directs the performances. Tickets are on sale in the middle school office during school hours. Reserved seated at $10 and general admission tickets are $5.

ArtSpace/Lima will host an opening reception for Spring Show 2017 on Friday, April 21, 6:30-8:30 p.m.  The reception is free and open to the public.

Spring Show 2017 is the 62nd edition of ArtSpace’s signature exhibit.

Members of the public are invited to attend a town hall meeting featuring U.S. Congressional Representative Jim Jordan. The event will be held from 6:‐8: p.m. Monday, April 24 in the South Hall of the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center in Lima. The town hall is sponsored by Allen and Hardin for Election Action and Democracy (AHEAD), in partnership with other groups in Representative Jordan’s district.

April 27 at Hancock Historical Museum

First National Financial Services and First National Bank will host an antique appraisal event, Thursday, April 27, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Hancock Historical Museum, 422 W. Sandusky St., Findlay.

The event will feature appraiser Richard E. Stegman who has more than 30 years of experience with antiques, including owner of several antique shops, and was a student of Harry Rinker’s The Institute for the Study of Antiques and Collectibles.
