Wednesday Addams gets married and it's meet the parents time

The Addams Family musical comes to the middle school stage later this month in a show featuring every father's nightmare.

Performances are 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, April 21 and 22, and at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 23. Kara Zink directs the performances. Tickets are on sale in the middle school office during school hours. Reserved seated at $10 and general admission tickets are $5.

Here's a summary of the show:

Approximately 50 horses to be sold

The University of Findlay holds its 13th annual spring horse sale Saturday, April 29, at the University of Findlay’s Western Farm in the Dale Wilkinson Arena, 14700 U.S. Route 68 south of Findlay.

The sale draws buyers from multiple states, and presents prospects and finished horses for potential buyers. Demonstrations begin at 10 a.m. with the sale following at noon.

Nancy Steinecker, an Allen County Master Gardener volunteer, will present a program on propagation from plant cuttings.

The program is at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 4, in the lower level of the Bluffton Public Library. The program is sponsored by the Gardeners of the Bluffton Pandora Area and is open to the public.

A paint and partake party is planned from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, April 1, at Bluffton Baptist Church, 325 County Line Road.

The event has snacks and is a fundraiser to help a student raise money for a student's class trip. The cost is $30 each participant. It is open to all age groups. RSVP to [email protected]

 

 

Two community meals in April are set at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center, 132 N. Main St. Details follow:

• Thursday, April 6 - provided by Ebenezer Mennonite Church
• Thursday, April 20 - provided by Mennonite Memorial Home

The meals are free and open to the public. Donations of canned goods are accepted and will be donated to the Bluffton Community Assistance Program.

Tom and Sue Schaff will share photos of their recent trip to Cuba during the Monday, April 10, Bluffton Senior Citizens Association dinner meeting.

The meeting is at the Senior Center, 132 N. Main St., at 6 p.m. This dinner has no charge and is provided by Right at Home, who will furnish a meal fro Lee's Chicken.

Reservations are required by Wednesday, April 5.

During the meeting, Dorothy German, will receive a life membership award as she turns 90 in April.
