Campus Life announces its Wednesday evening summer pool party schedule at the Bluffton Community Swimming Pool.

Parties are from 8:30 to 10 p.m. for sixth graders through seniors. Admission is $3. Each party offers pizza at $1 per slice and soft drinks for 50 cents each.

Summer play dates will be held at the Jenera Community Park, south of the village on State Route 698, on the first and third Mondays of June, July and August. 

Beginning at 9:30 a.m., you can come when you want and stay as long as you would like. 

Parents, grandparents and caregivers may bring children of any age to enjoy playing outside with other children while the adults visit. 

June date are the 5th and 19th.

Krysti’s Music Studio invites Icon viewers to its 2017 art show and open house from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 10, according to Kristi Schey, manager and teacher.

The show is at the music studio, 334 S. Main St., Bluffton.  In addition, Libby Brodman will have a LuLa Roe pop-up boutique.

This year’s show features art work of students Lena Brown, Jordyn Garmatter, Owen Kohli, Ella Krupp and Ayla Tabler. The students will present projects they have completed throughout the year.

Bluffton Public Library hosts a program "Butterflies and Bees," at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 6.

Program presenters are Barb Snyder and Kim Thomas, master gardeners volunteers from Hardin County.

The program is arranged by the Gardeners of the Bluffton/Pandora Area and it is free and open to the public, according to Victoria Zeits, president of the club.

Registration for July 8 available on line

Eight major sponsors are part of this year’s 3rd annual Ride to Remember, set for Saturday, July 8, in Bluffton.

The popular bike ride offers routes from 2 miles all the way to 112 miles Gran Fondo. A mass start is at 8 a.m. from Bluffton Family Recreation, 215 Snider Road, Bluffton.

Carnival games, children's games, lots of special offers

Carnival games, childrens’ activities, and buy-one-get-one specials will highlight Shirley’s Birthday Celebration on Saturday, June 10, in downtown Bluffton.

The annual celebration is hosted by Shirley’s Gourmet Popcorn Company at 117 S. Main St., which has pledged 100% of all sales and donations on June 10 to the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Putnam County, a United Way affiliate that provides free books monthly for children through age five.
