At this writing on Tuesday, just seven tickets are still available for the annual Friends of the Library Tea at Bluffton Public Library on Thursday, April 25 from 6:00-7:30 p.m.
The guest speaker is local author Perry Bush, a professor of history who has written three books:
Dancing With the Kobzar, Two Kingdoms, Two Loyalties: Mennonite Pacifism in Modern America and Rust Belt Resistance: How a Small Community Took on Big Oil and Won, and Peace, Progress and the Professor: The Mennonite History of C. Henry Smith.
Tickets for the formal tea are $20.00; cash or check accepted.
Jack and the Beanstalk

What happens when a young boy plants wonder beans in his own backyard? For Jack, it is the beginning of a great adventure. Audiences are invited to performances of Jack and the Beanstalk by the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) and the Kindergarten through 8th grade students at Trinity Lutheran School.
The Bluffton Scrap Artist Quilters are inviting quilters and sewists to their upcoming Quilting Retreat from Thursday, April 18 to Sunday, April 21 at the Harrod Event Center.
The center is located at 9520 Harrod Rd, Harrod, and the cost is $10/day.
