Events

The Swiss Community Historical Society of Bluffton and Pandora will host "Second Saturdays" events this summer at the Schumacher Homestead, 8350 Bixel Rd. Docents in period costume will provide tours of the air-conditioned farmhouse, as well as the summer kitchen, garden, workshop and barn.

Visitors will also get a first-hand view of progress on the Heritage Center, where the inside view reveals timbers and framework from the Dan and Cindy Basinger barn, built in 1855. (See SwissHistorical.org for more details.)

Second Saturdays in June, July and August from 1:00-4:00 p.m.

LIMA __The Allen County Master Gardener Volunteers are again hosting their Brown Bag Lunch and Learn Series at the Children’s Garden located at 620 West Market Street, Lima, OH 45801.

The 2024 season of Bluffton Cars & Coffee begins this Saturday May 25 from 8:00- 11:00 a.m. at Masterpiece Signs & Graphics, 902 N. Main, Bluffton.

The 2024 schedule is May 25, June 22, July 27, August 24, September 28 and October 26.

Bluffton Community VBS 2024 will be held at Bluffton YMCA, 215 Snider Rd. The theme is Hometown Nazareth “Where Jesus Was a Kid.”

Dr. Bur Shilling to speak at Maple Grove Cemetery ceremony

A tradition which dates back more than 150 years continues to bring veterans and families together in Bluffton. The tradition: decorating the graves of America’s war veterans, now known as Memorial Day.

The 56th Festival of Wheels Cruise In hosted by the Bluffton Lions Club will be held on Friday, June 14. The show fills downtown Bluffton with antique and classic cars, trucks, tractors, fire engines and motorcycles.

Parking for entries will begin at 1:00 p.m. with cars on Main St. as well as Vine, Church and Jackson Streets.

Registration takes palce from  1:00-5:00 p.m. The event will be held rain or shine.
