Bluffton Hospital Auxiliary colorama bowling night fundraiser at Bluffton's Southgate Lanes is this weekend.
This year's event takes place two evenings, starting at 6:30 p.m., Friday, April 20, and again at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 21. Over 50 raffle prizes are available and no prize has a value of less than $20. Some prizes have values of over $100.
A list of prizes is on the attachment at the bottom of this story. Major prizes include two tickets to Kings Island and a $50 gas card.
Persons interested in participating in bowling should contact Southgate Lanes.
The Impressions, the award-winning show choir of Cory-Rawson High School, will present Cabaret 2012 at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 27 and 28 in the Cory-Rawson Auditorium.
Tickets are adults $7 and students $5 and may be purchased at the door both Friday and Saturday evenings.
Cabaret 2012 is the end-of-the-year performance and celebration of the talented members of the Impressions and Stingers - award winning back-up combo for the Impressions.
Peter Suter of Shannon Theatre announced that "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" (PG) and "The Vow" (PG-13) will be showing at the theatre from April 20-26.
"The First Five" (Theta Alpha Phi), a musical theatre group, will entertain throughout The Inn at Ohio Northern Univeristy's Food and Wine Pairing event on Thursday, April 26.
Participants will enjoy a variety of selections including jazz, pop and Broadway musical. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and is $45 per person. A portion of proceeds will benefit the group's charitable cause.
A selection of outstanding foods and wines will be presented. Wines that are featured throughout the evening will be available for sale immediately following the event.
The Bluffton High School prom will be held Saturday, April 21, from 8 to 11 p.m. at The Centre. This year's theme is "Lost at Sea." The Centre will be open for a public walk-through from 7 to 8 p.m., according to Michaeline Lovell, BHS teacher and junior class/prom advisor.

A movie documentary Sex+Money: A National Search for Human Worth is playing at the Shannon Theater Saturday morning April 21st at 10 a.m. Admission is free but donations will be accepted at the door for NW Ohio Human Trafficking Rescue and Restore Coalition. A short talk back will follow the movie showing. This movie is recommended for late teens or adults.
