Jenny Sylak will perform her senior piano recital at 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 16 at Albion College, Albion Mich.
She will be performing works by Domenico Scarlatti, Franz Liszt, Franz Schubert and Bela Bartok.
Refreshments will be provided at the reception following the concert. The performance is free and open to the public.
Albion is about 2 hrs and 15 minutes from Bluffton, off of I-94. The concert will be held in Goodrich Chapel on the Albion College campus. She is a Bluffton High School graduate and is the daughter of Phil and Lois Sylak, 235 Grove St.
The Late Spring Session of youth programs will begin April 19 and run for 5 weeks through May 21. Classes for youth include tiny tots and swim lessons for younger ages (6 months to age 4), plus a variety of elementary school age classes. Offered in the Spring only is Tball Fun (Mon. 3:30-4:15PM), a class designed for girls and boys ages 5 and 6 year old girls and boys, plus 7 year old girls.

Reunion planners are invited to provide the Icon with the date, time and location of any summer reunions. As the end of the Bluffton school year draws near, the school calendar is filled with concerts, award assemblies and other traditional spring events. Here are some of the major events from the Bluffton High School calendar now until the end of school. Each event listed with a time is in the middle school cafetorium. Prom is at The Centre.
"Jitterbug Juliet," a sunny and high-spirited musical comedy, will be presented on the Middle School cafetorium stage by the Bluffton High School Drama Club in three performances this weekend, according to Kevin Gratz, director.
Performances are 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, April 16 and 17 and at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 18. Reserved seating tickets are $5 and general admission is $3. Tickets are on sale at the Middle School office.
