MEDIA RELEASE__"Battling for Bikes" from Bluffton Elementary School earned first place in the Health Action Council Healthy Kids Fall Step It Up Challenge. Team members Jaime Combs, Heidi Steiner and Ryan Dunlap won $1,500 for their school and averaged 808,262 steps.
FROM FACEBOOK__Bluffton Community Assistance (food pantry) director Jami Lovell has announced, "if anyone is interested in 'adopting' an individual or family for Christmas, please let me know as soon as possible. This is a great opportunity for a church group, business office, friend group, etc.
"We currently have 30 family units left to be adopted out (55 total so far this year)."
