Living in Bluffton

The Bluffton Community Assistance Program has identified the following needs for September 2024. They ask that donated items be at St. John's no later than Tuesday evening, September 17, in order for workers to sort and shelve donations by Wednesday morning, September 18 for distribution on September 21. Items can also be dropped off at Bluffton Town Hall, 154 N. Main St.

Reminder: No glass items.

On Thursday, August 22, Bluffton residents had an opportunity to review plans and concepts for Village of Bluffton parks in a open-air forum at Buckeye Park. The event was promoted by the Allen County Department of Health. 

Here are the winning numbers for Discovery Days for August, as announced by the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce.

First Prize - $100 Bluffton Bucks - 101053
Second Prize - $50 Bluffton Bucks - 101667
Third Prize - $25 Bluffton Bucks - 120763

Prizes can be picked up after 1:00 pm on August 30, 2024 at the Bluffton Public Library. Prizes must be picked up before September 27, 2024.

Bluffton Senior Center is coordinating a 12-day trip to Hawaiian Paradise, March 6-17, 2025.

In anticipation of the 2024-2025 school year, the Bluffton Exempted Village Schools have released a video on the school website titled Bluffton Pirates: School Culture and Community Connections.

The following Bluffton Exempted Village Schools newsletter for Summer 2024-2025 is appearing in hard copy in mailboxes across the district. It includes a letter from Superintendent Greg Denecker, financial information for the 2023-2024 general fund, permanent improvement projects, new additions to staff (including new elementary school principal Kori Bernal), event and no school dates and contact information.
