MEDIA RELEASE__The Poinsettia Club of Bluffton will begin its 106th year on April 21. Organized in 1920, the club's motto is “Give to the world the best you have and the best will come back to you.” The poinsettia is the flower of Mexico and represents friendship or friend.

The club meets at 11:30 a.m.on the third Tuesday of the month from April through November. The group meets in various locations. The April 2026 meeting will be held at Maple Crest in Bluffton.

MEDIA RELEASE__Columbus Grove/Bluffton Rd. between Tom Fett Rd. and Bentley Rd. will be closed for tree removal on Thursday, March 19 and Friday, March 20 from 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. both days.

There will be no access during this closure. Please find an alternate route.

Please remove parked cars from curbed streets from 6:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. 

MEDIA RELEASE__The Village of Bluffton has announced that Progressive Sweeping will be in town on Friday, March 20 starting at 6:00 a.m. 

Progressive will begin on Main St. and will be sweeping all curbed roads.

FROM BLUFFTON EXEMPTED VILLAGE SCHOOL__Bluffton Schools will dismiss at normal time on Friday, March 13.

Power is out at school and phone service is out as well.

Bluffton, Ohio is celebrating America's Birthday. The Bluffton Senior Center's front window is the place to get information about upcoming celebrations. 

On April 18, the Bluffton Senior Center will host a "Colonial Games and Past Times" from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will introduce participants to games that were played 250 years ago.

Organizers hope to feature a demonstration of Whist and other children's games. Those interested in learning to play are encouraged to let the Senior Center know.

Scavenger Hunt Trip | June 3, 2026
Come visit the American Sign Museum and Jungle Jim's International Market. There will be a guided tour of both and have a scavenger hunt. In between a lunch at Tickle Pickle. Cost is $125 due at sign up. Departs 6:45 a.m. Level 3 lots of walking. First day to sign up March 20, last day May 1.
