While a student at Cory-Rawson he was in the cast of Annie Get Your Gun, Thoroughly Modern Milly and Seussical.

Presentation delayed due to covid-19 • Core wore many hats in Bluffton

Larry Core, former Bluffton village administrator, is the 2019 Bluffton Lions Club Citizen of the Year.

And, in this usual year of covid-19, he received his award delayed. Don Hostetler presented Core with the award last week.

Core, a life-long Bluffton resident and Bluffton High School graduate, has served in several community project and organizations, both behind the scene and as a major player.

Perhaps his greatest village accomplishment was his untiring devotion to bringing DTR (today SumiRiko Ohio) to the village.

I’m currently considering some kind of crossover between computer science and aerospace. That’s bound to change in the coming years though, so I won’t be placing any bets on it right now
