Perhaps Bluffton needs a sign at the edge of town reading: "Buffton Schools - five consecutive years of perfect 100 percent in meeting each of the state report card indicators."
After all, other students, with state athletic titles do it. Let's brag about our achievements. Ours certainly rank among the best in the state.

It has been a very busy summer for permanent improvement projects in our district. In each summer's district newsletter and in The Bluffton Icon, we outline the revenue that was brought in from this 1/2% permanent improvement income tax and the projects (along with the cost of each project) completed with these tax dollars.
Below is the revenue chart of the combined monies brought in by the tax. Below that is the list of expenditures and projects completed thanks to this fund.

Bluffton council hopes to hold a meeting as soon as possible after Labor Day with the property owners of the North Dixie Highway area that is part of a proposed annexation into the village.
The village meeting with property owners is to answer questions and concerns of all involved. Issues involving the proposed annexation were discussed at Monday's Bluffton council meeting.
Jamie Mehaffie, village administrator, said that the Allen County Map Office has received the annexation survey from Bacon and Associates. The office personnel are reviewing the survey.
