On April 18 Choice One Engineering will provide projects overview

Village of Bluffton will hold a public meeting on West Elm Street improvements at 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, in the third floor of the town hall, according to Jesse Blackburn, assistant village administrator.

The following letter was sent to property owners affected:

This letter is to invite you to a public meeting to present the design of the W. Elm St. Improvements Project prepared by Choice One Engineering.  The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18. The following agenda will be used to guide the discussion:

The Bluffton tree commission will meet at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 8, in the first floor of the Bluffton town hall, according to Nancy Benroth.

The Blanchard River Watershed  Partnership has received word that the U.S. EPA in Chicago has given their final approval to the nine element non-point source implementation strategy plan (NPS-IS Plan) written for the Tiderishi Creek watershed in Hancock County, according to Phil Martin, watershed coordinator.

The EPA requires that there be an approved NPS-IS Plan written for each 12-digit HUC watershed before that watershed can receive federal funding. There are 30 HUC-12 watersheds in the Blanchard River Watershed.

Mental Health & Recovery Services Board of Allen, Auglaize, and Hardin Counties First Responders' Appreciation Week

The Board of Allen County Commissioners is joining with the Mental Health & Recovery Services Board of Allen, Auglaize, and Hardin Counties on Tuesday, April 10, at 11 a.m. at the county sanitary engineer's office, to recognize fire, EMS, and law enforcement’s efforts on the front lines fighting the opioid epidemic in Allen County.

Individuals in recovery and family members will share their stories of recovery made possible thanks to the many individuals in their community who made it possible for their recovery to occur.

Village partnering with several groups in an effort to transform alley north of Bluffton Presbyerian Church
