The Bluffton Senior Center announced its trips for the summer and fall, according to Tonya Meyer, director.
Trips follow:
• July 16-22, Bob and Bev Painter will accompany the group to Branson, Mo., and the Ozarks with 7 fantastic shows including the Sight and Sounds Theater. Cost is $864 for members and $882 for non-members.
It you didn't know better, you've have thought there was carnival in town on Saturday.

The carnival was Shirley's Gourmet Popcorn's birthday celebration. The party closed Main Street with carnival games, children’s’ activities, and buy-one-get-one specials.
That's not all. There were inflatable games, a balloon animal artist, Plinko, fish pond, and to top it all off Caramel to Die For ice cream sundaes.
Saturday’s in Bluffton become busy in the summer. This Saturday is no exception. The town will even close Main Street from Cherry to the Farmers’ Market for a specail event.

The Village of Bluffton launched its summer mosquito fogging season earlier this month.
According to Jesse Blackburn of the village the mosquito fogger will roam the village after 9 p.m. on Wenesdays. In the event of Wednesday rain or high winds, fogging takes place on Thursday evening.
