Ohio voters go to the polls on Tuesday. Locally, the polls are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

One local issue face Bluffton voters. Voters in Precinct B will decided whether the Bluffton Marathon Station on Main Street will be permitted to have Sunday sales (11 a.m. to midnight) of beer, wine and mixed beverages.

One countywide issue is Allen County Children Services tax levy. It is a five-year renewal of 0.75 mills to support children’s services and the care and placement of children.

Et Cetera Shop, 111 S. Main Street will hold a winter coat and accessory sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8.

All winter coats will be $5 each and winter accessories will be available for buy one, get one free.

Area farmers were happy for great harvesting weather over the past week. With no precipitation and temperatures in the 60s and 70s, it doesn’t feel like October.

Bluffton High Schoo's Drama Club will present "In Praise of Miss Brown," a two-act comedy in which the five teen members of the cast spend a great deal of time in the home of their teacher, Constance Brown. The play is reminiscent of the "Our Miss Brooks" television series.

The cast includes Darnell Boddie, Emma Burkholder, Jack Neff, Elijah Runk, Erica Sheehan, Adel Sommers, Megan Sycks, and Dylan Whitlow. Kevin Gratz is the director

Performances are November 14 and 15 at 7:30p.m., and November 16 at 2 p.m.
on the Middle School stage.

Investigators and clean-up crews are now on site at the Bluffton Precast Concrete Co., scene of a fire described by officials as a “major loss” on the afternoon of Oct. 29.
